Two Small Pieces of Glass

July 3, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Telescopes have advanced considerably since Galileo’s time. Humanity now has large observatories and even a couple in outer space. Two Small Pieces Of Glass shows how telescopes work; and how astronomers have used them to scrutinize the structures within our cosmos.

Complemented with spectacular imagery of Saturn’s rings, beautiful stellar nurseries and the spiral structure of galaxies, Two Small Pieces Of Glass shares the way telescope development has helped us understand our place in space.

This show was created in 2009 for the International Year of Astronomy.

*Recommended for all audiences
