Natural Friendships

November 9, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Do you like to make new friends? Do you like to be a part of a team? Bring a friend to the museum for this fun program about how animals live together and use teamwork to survive. This program free and open to all ages but is designed to be engaging for students ages 8-11.

Events are held in person at 5:30 p.m. in the UWSP Science Building Room A113 while the work continues to ready our new museum spaces. All programs are presented FREE!

Welcome Back, Junior Scientists!

The UW-Stevens Point Museum of Natural History presents monthly themes for curious kids in our Junior Scientist programs. Our Thursday evening programming—relaunching this fall—will teach kids about Wisconsin’s nocturnal animals, how things are built in the natural world, how animals navigate in their surroundings, and much more! View fall programs flyer.

Junior Scientist Program:

During the school year, the Museum of Natural History and Blocher Planetarium host free programs to engage children who would like to earn “Junior Scientist” status. Sign in at each event to get your name tag and show everyone you are a Junior Scientist in-training! Once you reach the level of Junior Scientist, you get to have your picture put up on our Wall of Juniors!
Registration is free and can be done online or in person at our events.
