Rocket past the stars! Meet the monkey Cocomong who loves astronomy. The playful prankster and his friends travel through space to save an alien from Virus King! Together with Cocomong you will go on a trip to the edge of the solar system! On the way, the audience will learn a lot and feel like real astronauts. (2012).
Our shows are open to the public in the Allen F. Blocher Planetarium. The planetarium is located on the second floor of the Science Building, by the Foucault pendulum, right above the east main entrance. Direct access is obtained through the east entrance.
*Recommended for all families, ages 5-12 Sunday Story Time at 3pm, Planetarium Show at 3:30pm
There is no charge for our public programs, although donations of $1-$2 per attendee will be greatly appreciated to allow us to continue these public programs for our community.
Parking is free on campus for our guests only on Saturdays and Sundays. From Monday-Friday, the UWSP parking lots are enforced 2 am – 7 pm. Please visit this website for more details about parking options, rules, and regulations.
