Future Students
Admission to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is competitive. All applications are reviewed on an individual basis, with both academic and non-academic factors considered. Transfer applicants will be considered for admission based on the following admission standards. Standards may be adjusted based on the number of applications we receive and transfer enrollment limits.

cultural resource embodied in the university's international student population.
To these ends, we strive for excellence in providing international students and
visiting scholars with immigration services, intensive English as a second
language instruction, advising, and campus & community programming.
Reentry applicants are generally eligible for admission if they have a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher. Reentry applicants who were suspended at the end of their last semester of attendance at UWSP must submit a letter of appeal with their application for admission. The letter must explain why they performed poorly in their courses, how their problems have been resolved, what they have been doing since their suspension, their educational goals, and any other information they believe the Admissions Office should know in considering their appeal.
