Supporting the Building Energy Detectives lessons
The Energy Audit Kit provides easy-to-use tools to monitor plug load, temperature and light levels in a building. In KEEP’s Building Energy Detectives lessons, students use these tools to investigate energy use in their school and identify actions to reduce energy loss and lower consumption, fostering a more sustainable future. Lessons seamlessly integrate technology into the math and science curriculum, making real-word applications of energy conservation both engaging and educational.
This kit includes:
- 5 watt meters
- 5 Infrared thermometers
- 5 light meters
- 5 digital indoor thermo-hygrometers
- 1 thermal imaging camera for smartphone or tablet*
- 1 battery charger for thermal imaging camera attachment
- 1 heavy-duty carrying case
- 1 set of related curriculum activities
*Must download the FLIR ONE app for apple or android to turn your phone or tablet into a thermal camera. Check to see if your device is compatible with the FLIR ONE Gen3
