The department offers a variety of scholarships to students pursuing majors, minors, and certificates in world languages. Scholarships applications are submitted in early spring and awards are granted in mid-spring and students are then honored at our Department Award Ceremony in late April.  Award recipients are selected by Award Committee made up of department faculty.  Students are made aware of scholarship opportunities in the spring via email notifications and by faculty instructors.  Students who are interested in applying for the Irene Anderson Scholarship to study abroad apply in the fall and attend the ceremony the following academic year.
