Internships and Real-World Experience
Although not required, internships or applied work experiences are strongly recommended. Students can work with Soil and Waste internship coordinators to find internships in their area of interest. Internship credits (e.g., WSTE 381) count toward minor elective requirements, giving you both academic credit and valuable hands-on experience.
