According to UW-Stevens Point Religious Studies Professor Shanny Luft, many people think of comedians as making fun of religion, but that’s not so much the case anymore.
Right now, he’s working on an academic article about religion and stand-up comedy. Comedy, Luft says, has more in common with religion than you may think.
