CWES BioBlitz
Participants observe, identify and record all the species they come across during a BioBlitz held last year at the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station.

Join a free nature scavenger hunt through the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES) on Saturday, Oct. 15, as part of the Wisconsin Science Festival.

The “BioBlitz” will be held from 3-4 p.m. at the Eagon Preserve, 10365 Flume Road, Rosholt, offering participants the opportunity to find and identify as many species as possible and learn the history and biodiversity of the preserve. At 4:30 p.m., participants are invited to CWES, 10186 County Road MM, Amherst Junction, for light refreshments and the option to upload observations to the iNaturalist app.
