The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will host several residential camps this summer, providing opportunities to enhance skills in fine arts, business, athletics and more.

The UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education and Outreach office will offer experiences for high school students throughout the coming months:

  • WI Business World Camp is open to incoming high school freshmen through graduated high school seniors. Running July 20-23, this residential camp places students in small groups and tasks them with building and pitching a profitable business.
  • UW-Stevens Point Summer Dance Intensive will offer two sessions Sunday, July 27, to Friday, August 1, for ages 13-15, and Sunday, August 3, to Friday, August 8, for ages 16-18. Participants will take classes that help them explore new techniques and hone their skills as dancers. Residential and non-residential participation is available.

The Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES) is a 200-acre teaching and learning center located 17 miles east of Stevens Point on glacial Sunset Lake. An integral part of the College of Natural Resources, CWES offers several residential camps, day camps and adventure trips for children of various ages.
