Justice Journeys

Support undergraduate field experience in the Department of Sociology and Social Work. Justice Journeys is our new campaign to build a lasting endowment supporting applied learning experiences that deepen student understanding.

Sociology and Social Work students can be immersed in the work of social justice organizations, such as The Little Village Environmental Justice Organization and Bridge Builders in Chicago, by securing a lasting endowment to fund these experiences.

TRIPS WITH LASTING IMPACT

These impactful hands-on field experiences require additional university resources and expenses such as travel, board, tour fees, and other service costs.

Our Sociology and Social Work faculty are focused on the opportunity to expand immersive learning opportunities through Justice Journeys. With your contribution, we can invest in the type of applied learning that will impact the next generation of Sociology and Social Work students.

These offerings are game changers to give students the chance to apply what they have learned in the classroom to real world social justice endeavors.
