Learn about inclusion and belonging from experts in the field during the 2023 Inclusive Excellence Conference: Cultivating Connections and Creating Change. Apply the information from speaker presentations in your work setting. Students, staff, faculty, community individuals and local school district employees are encouraged to attend this free conference. In-person and virtual options are available. Registration is required.

MEET THE KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Keynote speaker Dr. Arthur T. Matthews, professor, from Penn State University will kick off the conference during the welcome session in Stevens Point and will offer a lecture on “Beyond Leadership” at the UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield campus. Dr. Richard McGregory, Jr., senior executive staff at Madison Metropolitan School District will present during an interactive luncheon with conference attendees at the Stevens Point campus.

Conference Agenda

Day 1 will be hosted at the UW-Stevens Point campus with keynote speakers, a networking luncheon and several breakout sessions presented by faculty, staff and community members. Day 2 will be hosted at the UW-Stevens Point at Wausau and Marshfield campuses and will feature welcome remarks by community leaders and a lecture series presented by faculty and local community experts.

Register to attend the Inclusive Excellence Conference: Cultivating Connections and Creating Change by Monday, October 16. If you are a faculty member who intends to encourage your class to attend, please note how many students from your class will join. Please email Student Affairs at stuaff@uwsp.edu with the list of names. It is important to register for conference planning purposes (meals, seating, etc.). Please continue to check the conference website for updates regarding the schedule and live stream.
