Bio

Yue Li, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of educational sustainability in the School of Education at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Her research focuses on online and face-to-face professional development for formal and non-formal educators, and community-engaged learning to address sustainability challenges. She collaborates with scholars across disciplines and bridges quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct interdisciplinary research in both online and face-to-face settings, and in different cultural contexts. Her recent collaborative research projects include comparing online learning processes and outcomes for learners with different cultural and language backgrounds and exploring college students’ place attachment through an online photo sharing community. She has taught environment and sustainability courses at Cornell and UWSP, which have provided high quality and equitable learning opportunities for students, environmental and sustainability educators and other professionals from all over the world.
