Craig Timm

Bio

A native of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Craig is a familiar face at UWSP.  He has taught adjunct courses in the Communication Department for over 20 years, specialized in Introduction to Public Relations, Crisis Communication and other PR-related topics.  Craig has a strong interest in education and enjoys interacting with students of all ages.  He views his time at UWSP as an honor.

Craig had a 25-year career in corporate public affairs for Georgia-Pacific Corporation and Domtar, Inc.  He was a regional public affairs director for facilities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania.  As a registered lobbyist, he worked with elected officials on the federal, state and local levels.  Craig also served as public information/foundation director for 11 years at Mid-State Technical College.  His career now includes four years in funeral service, serving families at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids.  Craig is also a licensed pre-need funeral planning specialist and life insurance agent.
