Brett Barker

BIO

Professor Brett Barker began his teaching career on the Wausau campus, then UW-Marathon County, in 2004. His primary historical research interests are in the northern homefront during the Civil War and Wisconsin soldiers during the Civil War. Barker said he is surrounded by colleagues who care about the success of UWSP students and each other.

When he was growing up, he wanted to be either an ornithologist, a chemist, or a historian.
