Noel Fine Arts Center

The Noel Fine Arts Center is located off of Portage Street situated next to Daniel O. Trainer Natural Resources Building (TNR). The building boasts 200,000 square feet of space that includes 2 theatres, a concert hall, and numerous other student work, presentation and performance spaces. The highlights of the Noel Fine Arts Center include:

  • Spacious drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, and printmaking studios
  • Well-equipped sculpture, ceramics and wood shop areas
  • 40,000 square feet of classroom space

Communication Arts Center

The Communication Arts Center is located in the heart of campus, just behind Old Main and next to the Dreyfus University Center. The historic 50,000 square foot building boasts some of the newest communication technology available and state-of-the art classroom facilities, while still maintaining the charm and beautiful architecture it was designed to have. The highlights of a Communication Arts Center tour include:

  • 90-FM radio station
  • The Pointer newspaper
  • SPTV student television
  • 2 major lecture halls
  • Multimedia computer lab
  • State-of-the-art digital television studio
The School of Design and Communication has two buildings on campus in Stevens Point, the Noel Fine Arts Center and the Communication Arts Center.
