Jobs at the Museum of Natural History

The UWSP Museum of Natural History offers several positions to undergraduate students in a variety of academic and professional fields. Employment at the Museum is a prearranged learning opportunity under the supervision of a Museum staff member. These paid positions are only available to students with work-study. Pathways Interns do not need to have federal work-study, but must be a current UW-Stevens Point student, enrolled in at least 12 undergraduate credits with UWSP, in good academic standing. To apply for a position with the Museum, visit the Quest page with your student login.

Museum Discovery Center staff are the face of the museum. We hope that UWSP students will be able to interact with visitors in this casual environment to provide an enjoyable experience working as coordinators for educational programs or for Story Time programs.

“I’ve worked a lot of jobs on campus, but working at the Museum has been my favorite. You work in a relaxed setting with great people, you are able to do homework while you are working, and it doesn’t feel like a job. This job is great for people that are passionate about nature and natural history.”
