Jeff works with the following programs: medical laboratory science nursing Bio Jeff Christensen has worked in higher education over 12 years at various colleges and universities in Wisconsin. He joined the School of Health Sciences and Wellness in fall 2023. Previously, Jeff worked with the TRIO Upward Bound program at UW-Stevens Point, helping first-generation and low-income students prepare for college. He advised high school seniors as they transition to college and helped them with the financial aid and college admissions applications. Jeff also organized the Upward Bound peer coaching program and taught classes during the Upward Bound Summer Session. When not at work, Jeff enjoys gardening, biking, anything Pokémon, and spending time with his two cats! Fun Facts Best advice you ever received? It’s important to make professional connections outside of the classroom. Therefore I always push my students to find meaningful internships, volunteer opportunities, campus jobs, or extracurricular activities.
