Kavita Bhatia BIO Professor Kavita Bhatia joined the UW-Stevens Point Department of Mathematical Sciences in 2018, after teaching 22 years for the UW Colleges. She teaches at the UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield branch. She is a former chair of the Wisconsin Section of the Mathematical Association of America. Bhatia received a UW-Colleges Summer Research Grant for her research projects Using Think Alouds to Understand Students’ Difficulty with Related Rates and Assessing the Impact of the Polya Rubric in Mathematical Problem Solving.
