Renée Craig-Odders

BIO

Professor Craig-Odders joined the Department of World Languages and Literatures at UW-Stevens Point in 1994. She teaches all levels of Spanish language, Spanish civilization and culture, Spanish for business, and various peninsular literature courses. Craig-Odders is a specialist in Hispanic detective and crime fiction. She has authored or co-authored three books and numerous articles on this topic. Her other research interests include contemporary peninsular women authors.

Craig-Odders is certified as an Oral Proficiency Interviewer with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages and regularly conducts these interviews in conjunction with the language teacher education program at UWSP.
