June has agreed to let Hollywood makeup artist Talia Verbane use her injuries as a reference while designing her latest horror movie. Talia’s daughter Rodi soon takes issue with this arrangement, especially after she and June become entangled in an emotional and revelatory relationship. The Six-Fingered Woman is a play about dependence, connection, and the ways we numb ourselves against reality.

"I started writing this play after watching a boatload of '80s horror movies while preparing for last season's production of Heathers: The Musical. I was fascinated by the craftsmanship that went into making the gory sequences and wanted to explore how something so appalling could also be seen as a work of art. As a student playwright, I'm incredibly honored that the Department of Theatre and Dance has given me the opportunity to share my work with a larger audience!"
