UWSP provides various types of powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) that assist with material handling and worker positioning.  The use of these machines assists workers with effectively maintaining our facility assets for our campus community.  OSHA provides regulatory guidance on the safe use of these machines with proper usage, maintenance, training, and education.

EXAMPLES:
  • Forklifts
  • Boom Lifts
  • Scissor Lifts
  • Powered Pallet Jacks
