Human Resources is responsible for:
  • Recruiting: Recruit and hire faculty and staff
  • Employee Relations: Oversee performance management and human resource policies and ensure employee relations comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations
  • Equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging: Ensure employment practices are in compliance with federal and state anti-discrimination laws, support efforts of a diverse workforce, and champion inclusion and belonging.
  • Employee Transitions: Support workforce onboarding, offboarding, position changes, and department restructures.
  • Total Rewards: Benefits and compensation (Note: Many total rewards processes are completed through UWS Shared Services; where they are the primary resource, it is noted on our webpages)
  • Workplace, occupational, biological, and chemical hygiene safety and compliance.
Human Resources is located in the Old Main Building. We have two offices to support your needs:
