College of Letters and Science Undergraduate Research Symposium

Welcome to the 22nd annual College of Letters and Science Undergraduate Research Symposium!

The 2020-2021 academic year has posed numerous challenges, but this year’s symposium nonetheless features approximately 70 student research presentations spanning the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. That impressive result highlights the innovation, dedication, and passion of our students to pursue research and intellectual development in general.

I hope you have an opportunity to join us in recognizing our students’ research achievements and appreciating the key role played by faculty as they inspire and mentor undergraduate research.

The COLS Undergraduate Research Symposium remains a highlight of the year and a vivid example of collaboration between students, faculty, and staff to advance the mission, vision, and values of the college and university.

Congratulations and thank you to students, faculty, and staff who have made this great event possible!

Dean, College of Letters and Science
