Submitting Data for CBCW

What is CBCW Data and Where Does It Go?

Watercraft inspectors collect important data while conversing with boaters and anglers at the boat landings, such as the number of boats inspected, how long they spend at the boat landing, and how many people are contacted with the AIS prevention message. The information they record on their datasheets is entered into an online DNR database called SWIMS, which stands for Surface Water Integrated Monitoring System. All of the water data collected around the state by the DNR and its partners is entered into this database.

If you've already entered data before, or have already setup your SWIMS account, click the button above to enter the data you collected now. If you are new to entering CBCW data, please see below for step-by-step instructions on how to set up your account and use SWIMS.
