Preschoolers and their parents will share time together hearing stories about animals and nature this fall at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's Museum of Natural History.
Story Time at the Museum is a free, public program that brings natural history to life through books read by UW-Stevens Point students. Each session also includes an activity or art project related to the story.
Story Time is held biweekly on Fridays from 10-11 a.m. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
This semester's programs and book titles include:
- Sept. 29, "Raccoon on the Moon" and "The Searcher and Old Tree"
- Oct. 13, "I Wanna Be a Great Big Dinosaur" and "Mamasaurus"
- Oct. 27, "Leaves" and "The Busy Little Squirrel"
- Nov. 10, "Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See?" and "Panda Pants"
- Dec. 1, "Looking For a Moose" and "Antlers Forever"
- Dec. 15, "If It's Snowy and You Know It, Clap Your Paws" and "When It Starts To Snow"
