UW-Stevens Point and the City of Wausau teamed up to provide forestry students with unique hands-on experience.
The forestry students learned to cut city logs using the university's mobile saw mill from their Tree-Haven Field station. Each student got to spend four hours on site and two of those hours as Head Sawyer making cuts.
