On the UW-Stevens Point campus there is an entire room aimed at tackling the future. We're not talking about space travel but rather the innovation behind the technology.
On Friday, Kristi Roth, PhD Professor Director of Graduate Studies and Educational Innovation joined the Sunrise 7 team to discuss what the space means for students and the community.
The Innovation Space is a collaborative learning technology space where the University provides faculty and students with access to innovative technologies. The class is funded by the College of Professional Studies and received support for development by the Wisconsin Technology Initiative.
Some of the highlights of the space include collaborative learning tables, Idea Wall, and writing window which allow groups to brainstorm ideas and design projects.
