UW-Stevens Point professor uses government shutdown as teaching opportunity

At UW-Stevens Point, professors are using the partial government shutdown and debt ceiling debate as a way to teach students about government.

The goal for many political science professors in colleges around the country is to teach students to understand how and why the government operates the way that it does. However, when unusual things like a government shutdown occur, they have to find new ways to explain what is taking place.​
