Chinese dance, acrobatics coming to UW-Stevens Point

Enjoy award-winning acrobatics and centuries-old traditional Chinese dance when the Golden Dragon Acrobats perform in Stevens Point in March

The show will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 9, in the Laird Room of the Dreyfus University Center, sponsored by the student-run Centertainment Productions. Tickets are $24 plus service fees and may be purchased at https://tickets.uwsp.edu, by calling 800-838-3378 or stopping at University Information and Tickets in the Dreyfus University Center concourse.

Offering spectacular costumes, ancient and contemporary music and theatrical techniques, the Golden Dragon Acrobats represent a time-honored tradition that began more than 25 centuries ago. Under the artistic direction of acrobatic performer Danny Chang, and his wife, choreographer Angela Chang, Golden Dragon Acrobats is recognized as the premiere Chinese acrobatic touring company in the United States.
