Regional Food System Assessment

As a pilot project, CLUE created a preliminary food system assessment for Central Wisconsin that includes Portage,  Marathon, Waupaca and Wood counties. Taking a regional approach can help us consider economic issues around food systems, including where and how aggregation and distribution can occur. A regional approach can also highlight the commonalities in a region, which may help in marketing.

The project was conducted from October 2014 - 2015 with the assistance from an adivsory committee comprised of topic and county representatives.

Detailed information about the Central Wisconsin Food System Assessment project is located in the final report.
