It has been said that my passion for the outdoors is portrayed through my artistic outlets. Whether it be shooting macro-photography, painting, cooking, or even my design work.

A new Pointer should remember to find balance. The campus Nature Reserve is a great place to relax. I always enjoyed going out the lawn in front of Old Main and looking at the stars. It’s a great opportunity to get lost looking and the sky while hearing the hum of the city. It demonstrates the perfect balance Stevens Point has to offer with both urban and rural environments.

I am serious about finding opportunities to challenge myself. I have taken on a partial home remodels, helping rebuild a basement, teaching myself electrical wiring, painting, ripping off paneling, interior decorating… the-whole-nine-yards. It is an opportunity to step outside my comfort zone while expressing my creative side.

I consider myself a true Wisconsinite bleeding green and gold on Packer’s game days, loving dairy products (especially cheese), and upholding traditional Midwestern values. Wisconsin shines with our distinct four seasons, Fall being my favorite.  I cannot think of anything better than an opportunity to throw on a sweatshirt, bike the Green Circle Trail, or roast s’mores over a
late-night bonfire.
