The Pathways Internship Program contributes toward the recruitment and retention of undergraduate students by offering distinct, high-level on-campus internship experiences. Pathways Internships provide mentorship and supervision from faculty and staff who have applied to mentor students within the program. Our student-focused program aims to provide interns with opportunities to gain in-field experience while developing personal career skills.

Department Eligibility

Department Eligibility

The Pathways Internship Program supports an array of undergraduate internship opportunities across campuses, departments, and disciplines by providing reimbursement for paid intern wages within an academic year (September - May). Funding is awarded via an internship funding allotment which equates to a fund reimbursement of up to $2,500 for wages paid to 1 undergraduate intern. Supervising-Mentors can apply for up to two Pathways allotments per academic year.

Pathways Supervising-Mentor criteria:

    • End of experience feedback survey (distributed by the Pathways Program Coordinator)

  • Supervising-Mentor has not received Pathways funds within the last two academic years
