With more than 1,000 students in the program, biology is the most popular major at UW-Stevens Point. That's why a new Chemistry-Biology building is a welcomed addition to campus.
"In an increasingly competitive career market, this facility will allow our students to be the best in the UW-System," said Christopher Cirmo, the Dean of the College of Letters and Science.
The $75 million in state capital funding for the new facility was approved as part of the 2013-2015 budget.
