Accreditation
UW-Stevens Point is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North
Central Association of Colleges and Schools. As required by the Higher Learning Commission, the following "Mark of Affiliation" has been provided:
UW-Stevens Point's most
recent reaffirmation of accreditation took place in 2008. The next regular
reaffirmation of accreditation visit is scheduled for 2018.
In February 2012, UW-Stevens Point completed a focused visit from
the Higher Learning Commission to
examine issues related to "assessment with a particular emphasis on the
assessment and subsequent revision of the General Education program and
