A University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point professor is celebrating 35 years of researching a subject that he says offers insight to how the world functions: Cooper's hawks.
Bob Rosenfield began his study of the bird after being recruited as a graduate student at UWSP. Rosenfield won a grant to study the species, which had at the time just been placed on the state's endangered species list.
