Some local high school spent the day finding out that chemistry can be more fun that just experiments and tests.

Mosinee honors chemistry classes spent the day at UW Stevens Point, learning how paper is made, and why chemistry is so important to the process.

It’s all thanks to the Careers in Action Day put on by UW Stevens Point. The day helps students see how paper is handled from the beginning, to the end. The idea is to display the amount of work that goes into making paper. It’s meant to tie what the kids learn in the classroom to their daily lives.
