Recycling In The Halls

There are recycling chutes available to students on each floor of every building.  These chutes are for the disposal of recyclable materials only and are marked with the types of materials that can be placed in them.  Garbage/waste disposal is not allowed.

If recycling chutes are used improperly (e.g., disposal of garbage), community damage charges will be assessed and sanctions may be imposed upon the floor or hall.

UWSP prides itself on its recycling efforts.  The university has won national awards for its progressive program.  Within the residence halls, it’s impressive what just a little effort on the part of a lot of people can accomplish.
