Mission, Vision and Values​

Mission: The Office of the Registrar serves the students, faculty and staff of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point by performing a wide range of functions related to student records management and academic policy administration. Our primary mission is to uphold the academic policies of the university and to securely maintain the academic records of our students.
 
Vision: The Office of the Registrar is committed to providing high-quality registration and records service that support the educational mission of the University. 
 
Values: The Office of the Registrar is an integral part of the Enrollment Management unit and contributes to the retention, recruitment and student success efforts of the university by disseminating accurate and consistent information, processing requests in a timely manner and protecting students' right to privacy.

 

Services that support mission, vision and values of the office include: curriculum management, degree audits, academic room scheduling, registration services, timetable of course offerings, final exam scheduling, certifying of athletic eligibility, diploma services, enrollment and degree verifications, enrollment and graduation reporting, transcript processing, new student orientation and veteran benefits.

The Office of the Registrar is also home to the Veteran Services Office, which coordinates education benefits for student veterans, eligible dependents, Armed Forces Reservists, and National Guard members. The Veterans Coordinator works with community resources to provide personal support to our military students.
