Biography
Stacey serves as the Program Director for the Center for Prevenation at UW-Stevens Point. The Center for Prevention is dedicated to helping students understand how the issues of substance abuse and interpersonal violence affect academic, social, emotional, and physical well being. Stacey is responsible for leading primary and secondary prevention efforts for alcohol and other drug abuse concerns as well as coordinating campus-wide primary prevention work to help end sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. Stacey is a trained Bringing in the Bystander facilitator, a Brief Alcohol Screening for College Students (BASICS) presenter, and certifed in the use of motivational interviewing to support behavioral change.

Before her current role, Stacey work for ten years as the Program Director of the Student Health Promotion Office at UW-Stevens Point and as a Studeent Services Specialist focusing on tobacco use reduction and healthy nutrition. Stacey has worked in higher education since 2003.
