​The SBE has taken the next step toward accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). We have turned in the Standards Alignment Plan (SAP). This is a plan to bring our procedures in alignment with AACSB's requirements.

  

​The SBE recently ran student focus groups designed to improve our programs for students. These were students chosen at random to answer questions about the program. View the Focus Group Feedback.

  

SBE Student, Matt Vollmer has recently been awarded a prestigious scholarship by the Madison area professional chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. 

  

In response to the recent student focus group, the SBE is launching a new feature! "It's not just business, it's personal" is a page where students can go to view faculty and student video testimonies about how they have succeeded with a degree in business. There will be a new testimony every month. Check it out now!​

SBE scholarship applications (including international study scholarships) are now available to be filled out. The applications are due by Wed. February 15 in the SBE office (CPS 422). Award recipients will be honored at the SBE Spring Awards Banquet on May 4.

​UWSP College of Professional Studies students joined more than 100 other students and faculty advisors at th Capitol Rotunda to share their undergraduate research with legislators, state leaders, UW alumni, and other supporters. View pictures from the event.

  

The Taste of the NFL founder and Stevens Point native, Wayne Kostroski, spoke to SBE students March 26. He challenged students to “Be an individual who brings out the best in those around you and the best will come around you." Read more on the CPS blog.
