Credit for Military Service
Students who
provide evidence of military service (DD214, NOBE or military transcript) will
automatically receive 2 physical education credits which will apply toward the
Wellness general education requirement.
Military transcripts
(AARTS or SMART) will be reviewed for college credit based on the American
Council on Education (ACE) recommendations. Credit will be awarded for courses
listed under “Military Course Completion” when ACE has recommended credit at
the upper-division baccalaureate level. Credit is not awarded when recommended
at the associate degree or lower-division baccalaureate level, or for military
occupational specialties.
