Academic Advising
Academic Advising is an essential part of teaching and learning at UWSP. Research shows that quality advising is the key to student retention and student success.
At UWSP, we recognize the importance of academic advising in several respects. For example, the Teaching, Scholarship, Service document issued by the Provost and Chancellor acknowledges the important role of advising, as does the University Handbook (Chapter 5, Section 3).
