David Boardman is the Government Relations Specialist for the University of Wisconsin System. He provides support to the state relations, federal relations, and economic development teams and assists with the execution of UW System’s legislative strategy at the state and federal levels.
Prior to his role at UW System, he worked as a legislative aide for State Representative Dave Murphy, the chairman of the Assembly Colleges and Universities Committee, and he worked as an aide for State Representative Joan Ballweg. He graduated from UW–Stevens Point with a bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration & policy analysis, and he holds a Master of Public Affairs from UW–Madison's La Follette School of Public Affairs.
Outside of work, David can be found playing soccer at one of the local soccer parks, camping at a state park, or on a plane traveling to another destination.
