Bridging Traditional and Emerging Forestry Markets: Trends, Tools, and Opportunities for Forest Managers

Join forestry professionals, landowners, and natural resource managers for a full-day educational event focused on the evolving landscape of forest markets. This program will explore current trends in hardwood lumber and broader forest markets while highlighting emerging opportunities such as forest carbon programs and other new market pathways. Attendees will be able to network and connect with other forestry professionals and partners.
Speakers will discuss how traditional forest products and newer market opportunities intersect with forest management decisions, including the benefits and considerations of incorporating carbon into a forest management plan. Participants will gain insights into market trends, landowner opportunities, and potential changes shaping the future of forestry. This event is open to all foresters, land managers, and all natural resource professionals.

The meeting will take place in the Connor Forestry Center at Kemp Natural Resources Station, located at 9161 Kemp Road, Woodruff, WI 54568.
Free parking is plentiful and available on-site.
