Packaging Tour

Wausau | Oct. 22 | 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at how we transform blank films and papers into colorful coffee bags, exploring each step of printing, shaping, and testing to see the magic of turning raw materials into finished products.

Safety shoes and glasses recommended but not required. Tour limited to 10 participants. Please register by Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Paper Mill Tour

Mosinee | Oct. 22 | Time Flexible

Students and teachers touring the Mosinee Mill will see how paper supports industries from building and construction, food packaging, and tape. The tour also shows how sustainability and innovation shape the work, while opening students’ eyes to the many career possibilities in the paper industry.

Students must be at least 9th grade or older. Closed-toe shoes are required. Groups of 15 or more need prior approval. Please register by Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Paper Mill Tour

Kaukauna | Oct. 22 | Time Flexible

The Thilmany Mill tour introduces students and teachers to the world of specialty materials used in the tape, medical, food packaging, and building and construction industries. Visitors will see how paper products they encounter every day are created, while gaining insight into the many directions a career in this field can take.

Students must be at least 9th grade or older. Closed-toe shoes are required. Groups of 15 or more need prior approval. Please register by Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Paper Mill Tour

Nekoosa | Oct. 22 | Time Flexible

A tour of the Nekoosa Mill gives students and teachers a chance to see how specialty papers used in everyday products are made. They’ll discover the wide range of skills and teamwork it takes to keep a mill running, and how many different career paths connect to the industry.

Students must be at least 13 years of age. Closed-toe shoes are required. Maximum group size 15. Please register by Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Paper Mill Tour

Rothschild | Oct. 22 | Time Flexible

At the Rothschild Mill, students and teachers will see how high-quality printing papers are produced and learn how innovation and sustainability drive operations. The experience highlights the variety of opportunities available in a modern paper mill and the important role it plays in the community.
