Water Investigations Kit

The Green & Healthy Schools Water Investigations Kit provides resources for educators and students to conduct a water investigation in their school. Safeguarding water quality protects both human health and the environment. Conserving water saves money on utility bills. Many practices that protect water can be implemented for little or no cost and offer real-world knowledge to students about their part in the water cycle. This kit includes tools to measure the temperature and water flow rates from faucets, consider how rainfall affects the need for outdoor water, and discuss the effects of over-salting roads and sidewalks on water salinity. Classrooms and schools are encouraged to use this kit to support earning a Water Badge from Green and Healthy Schools Wisconsin.

Please ensure that all materials in this kit are dry before returning this kit.
