UW-Stevens Point at Wausau student ID number is required (number is located on admittance letter). Please contact the Office of Admissions and Recruitment at 715-346-2441 or email@example.com with any admissions questions.
1. Financial Aid and Scholarships
Apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Code is 003924. For more information on financial aid, please contact 715-346-4771 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Apply for scholarships. Complete the Scholarship Application - priority consideration will be given to students who have been admitted and submitted their scholarship application by December 15 (Early decisions), February 15 (Final deadline).
2. Placement Testing
Sign up to take the tests at http://testing.wisc.edu February 1. Tests need to be completed 2 weeks prior to your summer STAR/Orientation session.
3. Sign up for Student Transition, Advising and Registration (STAR)
All new students are required to attend a half-day STAR/Orientation program to meet with academic advisers, register for classes and learn more about an array of university resources helping students transition to campus. Sign-up opens in March.
4. Final Steps
June - All students should arrange for final high school and college transcripts, and AP/IBArrange for high school transcript, AP/IB test scores to be sent to the UW-Stevens Point Office of Admissions and Recruitment. (1108 Fremont Street Room 102, Stevens Point, WI 54481).
August - Tuition bill will be sent. Bills are sent electronically to students through their UW-Stevens Point at Wausau email account and are available on accesSPoint.
September - Classes begin.
