UW-Green Bay Master of Social Work (MSW)
The Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from UW-Green Bay prepares students for advanced-level professional practice in a wide range of positions in the human services arena, with special emphasis on multi-cultural practice, social justice, leadership, and advocacy. In addition to an advanced generalist focus, the MSW Program has specific academic plans for students interested in child welfare, clinical mental health, or school social work. Courses are offered in a combination of on-line, hybrid, and face-to-face delivery. Face-to-face classes and advising are held on the UW-Stevens Point at Wausau campus. The UW-Green Bay MSW Program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

UW-Madison Physician Assistant (PA)
The UW-Madison Physician Assistant (PA) Program is a nationally respected professional program at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. The Wisconsin Physician Assistant Community-based Track (wisPACT) is a collaboration between UW and other medical providers in northern Wisconsin to provide PA training in northern and northcentral Wisconsin.
The wisPACT option is a two-year, full-time program. Students spend their first summer at UW-Madison, and then complete the balance of their training through a web-based curriculum at UW-Stevens Point at Wausau. To qualify for the two-year program, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a desire to remain in the northern region of Wisconsin.
Northern Vermont University’s Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
The Master of Science (MS) in clinical mental health counseling offers state of the art education in integrated mental health and addictions counseling, and is pre-approved as meeting the educational requirements for the Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin. Classes meet one weekend a month in sites across the country, including at the UW-Stevens Point at Wausau campus. The program has been offered in Wisconsin for over 20 years, formerly through Southern New Hampshire University and now through Northern Vermont University.
