In four seasons as head coach of the UW-Stevens Point volleyball team, Abbey Sutherland has led the Pointers to a pair of Final 4 appearances and a couple of conference titles.
In the off-season, her thoughts wander elsewhere.
"It's difficult to be happy when this is happening."
Her mom, Rhonda, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2013 at just 56 years old. But, she started showing signs 4 years earlier.
